M&M's are chocolate candies covered in colored icing, with the letter "m" printed on them, produced by Mars (a company founded in 1941). They were introduced to the market in 1954, although the "M&M's" brand existed before then: the Mars brand had a turnover of 35 billion dollars in 2017 alone.
